Set out the wreath building station with bowls of fruit for kids to pick from. Include thinly sliced green apples for the base, berries, sultanas and dessicated coconut for a snowy drizzle.
Guide them to arrange the apple slices in a circle on a plate to form a wreath base.
Decorate the “wreath” with berries and sultanas.
Sprinkle coconut on top for snow.
Optionally add cheese and / or crackers to the centre of the plate for some savoury snacks.
Making it is all part of the fun for this snacktivity. Leave the kids to it and get ready to ooh and ahh at their wreath creations (if they don't get gobbled up first!)
Pattern challenge: Invite them to create patterns using different coloured fruit.
Make it festive: Play christmas carols or add dried cranberries and cut strawberries into stars for a Christmas-themed version.
More fruity art: Use any leftover fruit to create more imaginative characters or pictures!
