Materials
Prep
Step 1:
Cut foam sheets into different shapes, letters, animals or objects.
Step 2:
Set out near a window, tiles or a bath surface with a little bowl or spray bottle of water.
Play
Step 1:
Wet the window or tiles with a little water.
Step 2:
Press foam shapes onto the wet surface to make them stick.
Step 3:
Create pictures, patterns or sort by colour and size.
Step 4:
When you’re done, peel them off and store for next time.
Extend
Play-based learning: Cut out numbers or foam letters (e.g. stick up your child’s name) for some extra literacy or numeracy practice
Window Puzzles: Cut out a foam puzzle and piece it together on the window.
Story Scenes: Make themed sets like an underwater world or outer space to build storytelling skills.
