A playful twist on a classic game - take turns hiding a toy around the room and inviting the other person to find it. It’s a mix of independent play and connection time, and works great with siblings, friends or you! Add a fun challenge by giving clues ("getting warmer...") or using different singing voices to guide them.
It’s also a sneaky way to build memory and attention - especially for the hider, who needs to remember where they put it! This game is a great option when you want...
Pick a toy and explain how the game works: one person hides it while the other closes their eyes, then it’s time to find it!
Choose who hides first and who seeks.
The hider hides the toy somewhere in the room while the seeker closes their eyes.
The seeker starts looking. You can give clues if you like.
Swap roles and repeat!
Hot & Cold: Give clues to say "warmer" or "really hot!" when they get closer or "cold" as they get further away. Or use your voice or instruments to sing louder or quieter the closer they are.
Memory game: Place a bunch of toys on the floor. The hider hides one of them and the seeker has to guess which one is missing before they find it.
Photo clue: The hider takes a close-up photo of where they hid it. The seeker has to figure it out using just that clue!
